This contract clause removes liability for natural and unavoidable catastrophes that interrupt the expected course of events and restrict participants from fulfilling obligations. Commonly referred to as an “act of God” or “impossibility” clause, it is often used during natural disasters that make it impossible for the guests to travel either out of their city or to the hotel’s city.
