A modular capability added to an AI agent, such as accessing files, sending emails, browsing the web, querying databases, or interacting with external systems.
Hotel Example: A sales AI agent has a proposal-writing skill, a CRM lookup skill and an email-drafting skill, allowing it to support a salesperson without accessing systems it has not been authorised to use.
